We feel that too many contractors use a low ball system of bidding and suggest add-ons
(extras) after the bidding process is done. What we do is provide two bids for each new
construction job. The first bid includes all basic electrical required to meet all State, Local and National Code Requirements, this is to be used to compare to proposals received from other Contractors. The second bid includes all the typical add-ons and extras that I would suggest. This price gives both the contractor and the customer a realistic price for what the job is really going to cost.
It's not always noticeable, to the average customer or even the general contractor, the quality of materials being used by their electrician. There are a lot of secondary products on the market that we refuse to use. All our products must meet and exceed our standards.
Once again, it's not always noticeable to the average customer or general contractor the type of wiring methods being used by the electrical contractor. There are uncountable ways of taking shortcuts to save time and money; back stabbing outlets instead of wrapping them to save time, generic service equipment and devices to save money, overloading circuits to save on time and wire, undersizing wires to meet MINIMUM code. All our installations are sized to meet current and FUTURE needs. That's what makes us better than them.
